“Food, Water, and the Environment”
Global Bio-Loop Creation

With the world population expected to reach 10 billion by 2050 and the effects of climate change brought on by global warming, the shortages of food and water essential to our lives are expected to accelerate in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to resolve issues in the areas of “food, water, and the environment”, such as efficient food production and stable water supply/reclamation, as well as realize a nature-friendly, decarbonized, and circular society on a global scale.
Under the theme of “What we can do for the Earth 100 years from now”, we will utilize the knowledge, technologies, and networks of both organizations in the fields of “food, water, and the environment” with the aim of creating “bio-loop”, which will achieve both symbiosis with nature (bio) and a circular society (loop) from the regional (local) to global level (global).
